This song was inspired by the film ‘500 Days of Summer’, in which Tom played the main character who had given his heart to Summer; who turned out to have a different perspective on the meaning of love. Eastcape wants to open a new perspective on how to explain the meaning of love properly without expectations, and stop expecting happiness from others through this song, because love was created to share anything that matters, not to make each other feel like a victim of their own lives.
