Meet the Doppelganger’s Situational Isolation is a three-part aural interpretation of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Sleeper. Always seemingly experimenting with his sounds and compositions even for his debut single Catching the Sun, Denny took his experimentation a notch further and yet managed to synthesise a well-composed, seemingly-lo-fi, synth-laden, empathic present-time psychedelia with pre-Civil War literary references, written in isolation amidst the global Covid-19 pandemic.
