Rrag – Pelikan

Titled ‘Pelikan’, this is going to be the newest single from Arafat Zawaid, Damas Hermansjah, Dhi Adjeng Widyasti, and Wili Benardo. This single follows ‘Violet’ which was already released at the beginning of this year.

Regarding ‘Pelikan’, Rrag is also assisted by Bayu Azni (Swellow, Diskoteq) in the lyrics department. It was inspired by a spontaneous interpretation of a scene that Bayu witnessed through his TV screen.

The making process of this song has been quite long, since the middle of 2019, at the same time with the release of the EP Ether. It was Damas as the guitarist who found the riff first, then Bayu added it with his poetic yet simple lyrics.

The recording was done at Bens Records, a music studio that has been witnessing a long history of potential young bands from Bogor, as well as their predecessors.

There will be other surprises from Rrag in the future, but of course, without definite plans.
