Music Is Not Cancelled Poster
The Store Front, an independent music distribution platform joined forces with Jakarta-based design studio, Tiny Studio to drop a collection of merchandise. The collection focuses on The Store Front and Tiny Studio’s take on the absurdity of the local music industry, tirelessly mocking and observing things, from the exploitation of music streaming royalties to the bedroom-pop fever engulfing the scene for the past few years.
The art prints as the grand statement from the collection, combining distinct and exciting graphics with one-liners in each design, saying that music is not canceled, correlating with the latest embargo on live shows and royalty does not seem very royal, an explicit dig at streaming platforms, constantly exploiting artists with a fraction of a penny per stream.
